Software Manufacturing, Packaging & Secure Assembly
Arvato Ireland delivers software manufacturing, secure packaging and assembly programmes for global software, security software and games customers, including specialist high-value builds. We manage the entire process end to end using our fully integrated SAP ERP system, ensuring traceability and accountability from order entry to shipping from our facility. We act as our clients' single point of contact, with account management, quality, logistics and procurement run from our headquarters — giving clients the reach of a global supply chain with the accountability of a single, dedicated Irish partner.
Physical media & secure assembly
We supply a complete range of physical media products, including optical media and USB flash drives, fully packaged, assembled and ready for distribution to global markets. In-house at Swords, we provide:
- USB flash drive production — content pre-loading, labelling and packaging
- Print-to-receipt (PTR) services
- Point-of-sale activation (POSA) services
Build materials are sourced to deliver the best balance of cost, security, reliability and resilience, with a focus on sustainable options that reduce waste and support clients' sustainability targets.
Secure code management
Central to our offering is the secure management of software activation codes. Through our bespoke secure code-management platforms — designed, built and maintained by our in-house development team — we generate, manage, print and distribute millions of activation codes each year on behalf of clients, working closely with integrators, suppliers and our in-house teams. Both systems-based and physical supply-chain security controls are built in at every stage, giving customers confidence in the integrity of high-value digital and physical products.
Product development & introduction (NPI)
Our capability also spans the front of the product lifecycle. We support clients through new product introduction (NPI), product development and testing, and design for efficient manufacturing, working closely during Design Validation (DV) and Production Validation (PV) phases to refine packaging, materials and assembly before full-scale production. Across these programmes we provide:
- Quality validation and reconciliation of key or high-value components
- Tamper-evident and anti-counterfeit security seals and labelling
- Speciality builds tailored to individual client requirements
- Responsible end-of-life management, including ethical scrap and certificates of destruction
All of this is governed by expert quality management and Lean Six Sigma methodology for consistency and continuous improvement.
Near-market production & on-site support
Beyond our own facility, Arvato Ireland's team designs, sets up and monitors production lines at partner sites, helping clients position assembly closer to end markets and reduce transport distances, costs and environmental footprint. Where projects require it, we deploy experienced staff to client and partner sites — locally and internationally — to support site set-up, project implementation and product launches, having worked on-site with clients and partners across Asia, the Americas and Europe.
